STEM & Cooking Camp

The STEM & Cooking Camp at the Raritan Bay Area YMCA is a unique week-long summer day camp that blends the excitement of STEM with the creativity of cooking. Campers aged 6-12 will explore the science behind culinary arts, learning essential cooking skills while understanding the chemical reactions involved in their favorite dishes. The program also introduces children to the fundamentals of running a restaurant, fostering teamwork, time management, and communication skills. The camp concludes with a special YMCA brunch, where participants showcase their culinary creations to their families. This in-person camp is an engaging way for kids to develop both STEM and life skills in a fun, interactive environment.
